Every great academy starts with a person who refuses to let passion stay quiet, and for Millennium Stars FA, that person was Mr. Moses Uchenna Ikenye. A generational AC Milan fan who grew up understanding football as more than a game, he spent years in Lagos working with different academies, learning what worked, what didn’t, and what young Nigerian players truly needed to grow. But after countless training sessions, matches, and conversations with kids in the city, he felt a pull back home. He realized the biggest impact wouldn’t come from staying where the spotlight already shone, but from returning to his hometown and building something that could change the trajectory for boys who had talent but lacked structure and opportunity. On Saturday, 2nd May 2026, at 8:00 AM, Millennium Stars FA returned to the pitch for a highly anticipated rematch against Chriscity Football Academy in a Development match that carried more weight than just a friendly match. The first encounter between these two sides had ended inconclusively, with the field needing to be cleared for other use before a winner could emerge. This time, there would be no unfinished business. For Millennium Stars FA, this game was the opening chapter of a much larger story. Welcome, MSFA family! Players, parents, and fans, welcome to yet another amazing episode of our Player of the Month spotlight. March was nothing short of spectacular, and we’re still catching our breath from the energy. This was the month our U19s hit a major milestone by stepping into their very first tournament, showing courage, skill, and the true MSFA spirit on a bigger stage. At the same time, #FootballWeekend was in full swing across all our centers. From the youngest beginners to our elite groups, every pitch was alive with cheers, goals, and growth.
