As we get ready for a football frenzy as the Champions Cup, hosted by Mr. Paul Arinze of Paul FC, kicked off the weekend of March 14th and 15th, 2026! This isn't just any tournament – it's a clash of the titans, featuring the crème de la crème of grassroots football talent from across Asaba! We're talking powerhouse teams like Paul FC, Sporting Delta, Raiders FC, and of course, our very own MSFA squad, all vying for the coveted trophy! The stage is set at the picturesque Federal College of Education, Koka, where 13 teams will go head-to-head in a thrilling 3-group showdown! Who will reign supreme? 


Journey to Greatness: MSFA's U19 Squad Sets Sights on Champions Cup Glory! 
The stage is set for a thrilling adventure! The MSFA U19 squad is geared up to take on the best of Asaba's grassroots talent at the Champions Cup, and it's more than just a tournament – it's a launchpad to greatness! The academy's strategic decision to enroll the U19 team in this prestigious tournament is aimed at fast-tracking their development, providing them with invaluable match experience, and exposing them to top-notch competition. The ultimate goal? To create a pipeline of talented players ready to take on the world! 🌟 Last year's state league success was just the beginning; the Champions Cup is the next step in their journey to the top. Coach Moses and his team are confident that this tournament will be a defining moment in the players' careers, helping them grow not just as footballers, but as leaders of tomorrow.

The Road to Victory Begins: MSFA Takes on Paul FC! ⚽️
The wait is almost over! Coach Moses has announced his 25-man squad, and the boys are raring to go! Their first match against Paul FC on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, at 4:30 pm promises to be a cracker!  MSFA is pitted against tough opponents in Group B, including Delighters FC and Lorita FC, but Coach Moses is undeterred. "The Champions Cup is an opportunity for us to gauge our progress and take our players to the next level," he said in a pre-tournament press conference. "We aim to create an environment that fosters growth, discipline, and excellence. Our players are our future, and we're committed to helping them become top athletes." With such infectious enthusiasm and a winning mindset, MSFA is ready to make their mark!

As the summer draws to a close, our U19 team has been working tirelessly to prepare for the upcoming state league. The technical team has been carefully selecting the best fit for the academy, and we're excited to announce the provisional 24-man squad! 🏆 A GRATIFYING SUMMER OF PREPARATION 🌞 Our summer has been filled with excitement and anticipation as we geared up for the state league. The team participated in three friendly games, which provided invaluable experience and helped our coaches identify the most talented and dedicated players.
