Celebrating Excellence: March's Players of the Month!

Welcome, MSFA family! Players, parents, and fans, welcome to yet another amazing episode of our Player of the Month spotlight. March was nothing short of spectacular, and we’re still catching our breath from the energy. This was the month our U19s hit a major milestone by stepping into their very first tournament, showing courage, skill, and the true MSFA spirit on a bigger stage. At the same time, #FootballWeekend was in full swing across all our centers. From the youngest beginners to our elite groups, every pitch was alive with cheers, goals, and growth. No class was left out of the action. It was a full month of fitness, sharp football drills, quality training, and moments that reminded us why we do this. Development was everywhere you looked: tighter first touches, louder communication, stronger teamwork, and smiles that prove football is still the best teacher. March raised the bar, and now we get to celebrate the player who led the way.
In this inspiring episode of our Player of the Month, we’re thrilled to introduce you to exceptional individuals who embody the spirit of MSFA. These are true leaders on and off the pitch, talented performers who turn training into transformation, and inspirations to every player, parent, and fan who calls MSFA home. Month after month, our stars show up with discipline, heart, and hunger to improve. They listen, they learn, they lead, and they lift everyone around them. At MSFA, we believe football builds more than athletes. It builds character, confidence, and community. That is the standard we coach to, and that is the standard our players live by. So stay tuned, because the moment is here. Discover who will wear the crown, carry the badge with pride, and take home the coveted title of Player of the Month. This is more than an award. It is a celebration of effort, growth, and the MSFA way. Let’s dive in!
And the Winners Are…
We’re thrilled to announce our March 2026 Players of the Month! In the Junior category, Ethan Mokobia takes the crown for his focus, energy, and fearless play. In the Senior category, Kansima Milton stood out as a true leader with top quality and unmatched work rate. Congratulations, boys! Your hard work, dedication, and passion for the game have paid off. At MSFA, we believe the reward for hard work is more hard work, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for these stars.

Senior Player of the Month: KANSIMA MILTON
Age: 15
Position: DEFENDER
Strong Foot: Right
SENIOR PLAYER OF THE MONTH: KANSIMA MILTON
At just 14 years old and three months old, Kansima Milton is already earning the reputation as the best U15 centre back in the whole of Asaba. That title is not given lightly at MSFA. It is earned through tackles won, lines broken, and leadership shown when the game gets tough. As the captain of Senior Team B, Milton has become the voice his teammates trust and the standard they measure themselves against. He leads on the pitch with composure and intelligence, reading the game two passes ahead, organizing the backline, and stepping into challenges with perfect timing. Off the pitch, he is just as impactful. He sets the tone at training, helps younger players with their drills, and carries himself with the humility that makes a true MSFA leader. For the Junior class watching from the sidelines, Milton is proof that age is just a number when your mindset is elite. He shows up early, stays late, and treats every session like a final.
Milton’s rise this season has been rapid, and it is no accident. Recognizing his growth, the coaches promoted him to Senior Team A as part of the MSFC plan for 2026, a move that placed him among older, stronger players and demanded a new level. He did not shrink. He fought, earned his place in the starting eleven for the outgoing Champions Cup, and delivered performances that turned heads. For a 14-year-old to command a senior backline under pressure, win duels, and play out from the back with confidence, that tells you everything about his mentality. Right now, Milton is one of the fastest developing players in the academy. Technically sharp, physically committed, and mentally mature beyond his years, his ceiling keeps moving higher. To Milton we say this: the reward for hard work is more work. Do not relax. Keep chasing that daily 1% improvement, stay humble, stay hungry, and trust the process. With this pace and attitude, the sky is not the limit. It is just your starting point. Opportunities are coming, and you will be ready.

In the Junior Category, meet our rising star, Ethan Mokobia! His energy, dedication, and raw talent have earned him this well-deserved recognition. We're excited to see him grow and shine! Congratulations

Junior Player of the Month: Ethan Mokobia
Age: 8
Position: Defender
Strong Foot: Right

JUNIOR PLAYER OF THE MONTH: ETHAN MOKOBIA
Meet Ethan Mokobia, the amazing centre back who has quietly become one of the very best defenders in the entire MSFA academy, and if you have watched any training match lately, you already know why. Ethan is impossible to miss once the whistle blows. His game awareness jumps off the pitch. You see it in the way he reads the striker’s body shape before the pass is even played, and you feel it when he steps in to make that perfectly timed tackle that kills an attack before it starts. His interceptions are not luck. They are the product of study, focus, and hundreds of reps when no one is watching. Watch him recover after a teammate is beaten and you will understand his engine. He sprints, he slides, he wins the ball clean, and then he plays simple to start the next attack. Coaches love him because he makes everyone around him better. Forwards train harder knowing they will not get space easily against Ethan, and midfielders play with confidence knowing he is that safety net behind them. For the Junior class, Ethan is a walking lesson in defending with intelligence and pride. He proves that being a top defender is not about shouting the loudest. It is about positioning, timing, discipline, and a refusal to be beaten. At MSFA we teach that defense wins championships, and Ethan is living proof. Keep your eyes on him. His consistency in training is building a defender who will dominate for years to come, and this Player of the Month award is just the start of what his hard work deserves.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our MSFA Family!
Today we celebrate Ethan and Milton, but this moment belongs to all of you. Our incredible players, parents, and guardians are the heartbeat of MSFA, and your dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence are the real reasons we grow stronger every single month. From dawn sessions to dusk drills, you show up when it matters most. You put in the work when the cameras are off and the stands are empty, turn up early, tough fitness runs, and endless passing patterns into unforgettable moments that light up our weekends. Whether it is a stunning goal that brings the bench to its feet, a crucial tackle that saves the game, or a perfectly timed pass that splits a defense, you are the ones making magic happen on the pitch. We see the sacrifices parents make, the rides to training, the kit washed late at night, and the belief you pour into your children. We see the players who encourage teammates, respect officials, and choose growth over comfort. That is the MSFA way.

Together we are not just training footballers. We are building a family where talent thrives and character is forged. We are proud of each and every one of you. This is family. This is MSFA. Let’s go again!

 APRIL, Month of Greatness!
As we bid farewell to an electric March and welcome April with open arms, the entire MSFA family is buzzing with excitement and anticipation. March gave us milestones that will be remembered all year. Our U19s competed in their first tournament, #FootballWeekend lit up every centre, and our Player of the Month winners, Kansima Milton in the Senior category and Ethan Mokobia in the Junior category, showed us exactly what commitment looks like. They set the standard with their work rate, leadership, and love for the game. That is the tone we carry into April. A new month means new challenges, new sessions, and new chances to grow. At MSFA, greatness is not a moment. It is a habit built day by day on the training ground, and April is our next opportunity to raise the bar.

Let’s Make April Unforgettable!
With hard work, determination, and the spirit of teamwork that defines MSFA, we are confident April will deliver thrilling moments, valuable lessons, and memories that last a lifetime. This is the month to be brave on the ball, sharp in your decisions, and relentless in your effort. Parents, keep bringing the energy from the sidelines. Players, keep chasing that 1% improvement every session. Together we will turn training into progress and matches into statements. So let’s do this, team. Let’s show the world what MSFA is made of. Here’s to a brilliant April. Let’s make it one to remember!
