The stage is set, and the spotlight is shining bright! Millennium Stars FA is proud to present the HOC 8-ASIDE CHAMPIONSHIP, an electrifying U19 tournament that will bring together the best young talents in Asaba. This 8-team league system will kick off at MSFA FIELD, DSVASC COMPOUND OFF SSG OFFICE, OFF CABINET ROAD, ALONG OKPANAM ROAD, ASABA, with the top 4 teams automatically qualifying for the semi-finals. The stakes are high, with a total prize money of over N100,000 up for grabs! The winner will take home a whopping N40,000, while the runner-up will receive N20,000. Additionally, individual awards include N5,000 for the top scorer, a black and white hose plus N2,000 for the top assist provider, and a glove plus N2,000 for the best goalkeeper. With a registration fee of just N15,000 per team, this is an opportunity you can't afford to miss!

We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Mr. Uchenna Ikenye, Sporting Director of Millennium Stars FA, to discuss the upcoming HOC 8-ASIDE CHAMPIONSHIP. "It would be an honor to welcome teams to participate in this tournament," he said, beaming with excitement. "Millennium Stars is committed to providing a platform where teams can compete with the best talent Asaba has to offer." On player eligibility, Mr. Ikenye was clear: "This is a teenager tournament, and we're strict about it. Only players between the ages of 13 and 19 are eligible to participate." He also assured us that the tournament would be transparent and fair, with him overseeing the proceedings to ensure that the best team wins on merit. "Our goal is to push grassroots players to bigger platforms," he explained. "With our international partnerships, we'll be introducing these talented young players to new audiences, giving them the exposure they deserve." Mr. Ikenye emphasized that the tournament is focused on player development, and it's just one of the steps the Academy is taking to engage youth within the community.
