Celebrating Excellence: July's Players of the Month!

Parents, players, and enthusiasts, welcome to another exciting edition of our Player of the Month feature. As we reflect on the thrilling trainings that took place during the #FootballWeekend in July, we're reminded of the incredible talent, dedication, and passion that our young athletes brought to the field. Despite the unpredictable weather conditions, our kids demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination, giving it their all and showcasing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Celebrating Outstanding Efforts: Player of the Month

The #FootballWeekend was a true showcase of exceptional skill and commitment, with exciting moments, impressive performances, and outstanding displays of football prowess. From these impressive performances, two players has emerged as a standout, demonstrating the qualities that define a true champion. This prestigious award isn't just about recognizing individual talent, but about celebrating the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship that define our academy. Our voting council carefully selected the winners from a pool of talented nominees, looking for players who consistently gave their all on the field while maintaining excellent behavior both on and off the pitch. And the winners are... Prince Eze Mc-Anthony for our Senior Player of the Month and Ethan Mokobia for our Junior Player of the Month!

 

Senior Player of the Month: Prince Eze Mc-Anthony

Age: 13

Position: Left/Right Back

Strong Foot: Right

 

Prince Eze, a 13-year-old Senior Team B player, has been making waves with his outstanding performance on the field. His dedication to training has been impressive, with punctuality and passion being hallmarks of his approach. Prince Eze's leadership qualities have also shone through, inspiring his teammates and demonstrating a level of maturity beyond his years. He consistently shows a willingness to learn and improve, taking feedback from coaches and applying it to his game. His hard work and commitment have paid off, earning him a well-deserved spot in Senior Team A, a testament to his growing skills and abilities.

As a combative full-back, Prince Eze has shown versatility, comfortably playing on both the left and right wings. His ability to adapt to different positions and situations is a testament to his skill and football intelligence. He possesses a keen sense of spatial awareness, often making crucial interceptions and tackles that help his team gain possession. With a bright future ahead, Prince Eze's achievement is a reminder that talent, hard work, and determination can lead to great success. At just 13 years old, he has already demonstrated the potential to go far in the sport, and we look forward to seeing him continue to grow and develop as a player, pushing himself to new heights and achieving even greater things in the world of football.

 

Junior Player of the Month: Ethan Mokobia
Age: 7
Position: Central Defender

Ethan Mokobai, just 7 years old, has had an incredible month, showcasing his skills as a solid and reliable central defender. His dedication to improvement is evident in his attentive approach to drills, where he consistently works with his teammates to perfect his craft. Ethan's passion for the game is contagious, and his desire to get better with each training session is inspiring. Whether he's marshaling the defense or making crucial tackles, Ethan's no-nonsense approach to the game has earned him a reputation as a player who can be counted on to get the job done. His ability to stay focused and composed under pressure is impressive, and his teammates look up to him for leadership and guidance.

As a young defender, Ethan has already developed an impressive ability to read the game and diffuse opponent attacks. His calm and composed demeanor on the field allows him to make smart decisions, keeping the defense safe and secure.
