 Millennium Stars Football Academy would be looking to close the year on a high, in what has been a very eventful calendar year for the Academy. The U-19 would be participating in this year December To Remember organized by Mr. Paul Ezeuzoramaka Arinze of Paul FC Asaba. This would be MSFA third tournament outing in 2024, in the previous two outing Millennium Stars FA has failed to live up to the hype around the team, representative of the academy insist that the team weren't ready in the previous tournament due to a lot of factors but we have looked sharp in training and the boys mentality is gradually getting to where we want them to be, to be able to compete among their peers, when December to Remember kicks off the boys would be ready to challenge he insisted. Paul FC is proud to present the new edition of the December to remember, an Amateur Football Tournament (Senior Category) in Asaba, Delta State, one of the most popular tournament for young players around Asaba and enviroment. The organizer and founder of Paul FC, Mr. Paul Ezeuzoramaka Arinze spoke to the media giving us a brief into the history of the tournament, according to him the tournament was inspired by his mother, who loves to celebrate children around her during the festive season, this would lead to the birth of December to Remember in 2021. The tournament debuted in 2021 with the prize money at N20k for the winner, over the years the prize has gone up and this year the prize money stands at N100k. This year would see 14 teams compete in a 7-aside, 25minute each half and an opportunity to take the prize money home.  Just a week after the game against De-Royals FC, Millennium Stars welcomed Playlearn Academy at the millennium stars field, Delta State Vocational and Skills Acquisition center Asaba. The game kicked off by 16:00pm on Friday 8th November 2024, the home side wore their traditional Red on Black Jersey on Black hose playing from right to left of the field in a 4-2-3-1 formation. The first half saw Millennium Stars in control of the game, creating chances upon chances but the resolute defense of Playlearn Academy would not be bridged. The game opener didn't come till the 40th minute when Chisom Ibegbunam controlled the ball in midfield, dribbled past his marker before shooting from 35yards into the bottom corner of the net to give Millennium Stars the lead just before the break. In what was a match of the TITANS we see De-Royals Flames FC host Millennium Stars FA on a sunny thursday evening, the friendly kicked off by 16:00pm at The West End Secondary School, Asaba. Millennium Stars started proceedings playing from right to left on their Traditional Red on Black Jersey on black hose while De-royals were in all orange Jersey. De-Royals Flames played a 4-3-3 while Millennium Stars went with the 4-2-3-1, De-Royals were in control of the game early on but the first real opportunity of the game came to Millennium Stars around the 18th minute when Favour Ojugbeli sent a very delicious cross into the box to find Ifechukwudi Iyamah, Ifechuwudi couldn't convert from close range.
